We decided to go out of the box and go to the Lavendar festival in Mona, Utah. We first stopped at our favorite ice-cream place in Sanaquin which is like the town before Mona. The Red Barn is just a fun little not so normal place to get ice-cream and a few other things like fudge and fresh farm fruits.

Then we were off to the Lavendar farm. It's really just a great big park and during festival time they have horse rides and gazibo activities and they even have a little zoo with exotic animals like a Zebra Donkey. The kids had a lot of fun just playing at the park. We even saw some of our neighbors there which was funny! A great place to go for a picnic or something to do for a free day.
